As an independent consultant, I go deep with clients and deliver personalized value. Some of my notable client projects include:

• Supported a fast-growing lithium extraction technology company in defining its long-term strategy and near-term priorities, aligning commercial models, product validation, and fundraising efforts to accelerate path to scale.
• Designing and facilitating a strategy offsite for the leadership team of a geoscience consulting firm that identified short and long-term priorities for the business and founders.
• Developing (and then updating) the long-term strategy of a leading mining post-secondary education and research institute through facilitation of in-person and virtual sessions with the leadership team
• Advising a national homecare provider in the launching and scaling of new digital and specialized platforms through a series of working sessions and individual coaching
• Designing and facilitating annual strategic planning sessions for a mining optimization consulting firm focused on identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. 
• Designing and delivering a half-day workshop for the sales and marketing leaders of a global manufacturing company  focused on how to collaboratively deliver a world-class customer experience
• Delivering a keynote address and workshop for the annual strategy session of a leading national public affairs firm, guiding their leadership team through five winning principles with interactive discussions.

Through collaborations with leading innovation and growth strategy firms, I’ve led and supported large-scale innovation, strategy, and leadership initiatives globally. My clients have included leaders in mining, materials manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, entertainment and media as well as financial services. 

I have been part of multi-stakeholder initiatives to unite industry leaders and drive collective innovation and sustainability efforts:

• Development Partner Institute - A global initiative to promote sustainable mining practices, bringing together leaders from across regions to drive meaningful change.
• ReThink Mining - A national mining innovation consortium, facilitating partnerships between mining companies, universities, and technology providers to advance innovation.
• The Nourish Movement - Connecting innovators and their innovations to empower human health through food, sustainably. 

Through roles as a corporate and non-profit board member, and as interim Executive Director twice, I’ve shaped and executed strategy from within. My experience includes:

• Being on the Board of Directors of both the hospital and foundation sides of William Osler Health System for 15 years (6 as Chair of the Board) managing through multiple planning and leadership cycles
• Supporting the transformation of the Empire Club of Canada through my involvement on it’s Board of Directors and strategic planning and governance committees. 
• Serving on the Board of Directors of Canada Nickel Company as it builds the next generation of high quality, high potential nickel projects support the electric vehicle revolution.
• Co-Founder, Board Chair and one-time Interim (Volunteer) Executive Director of Seva Food Bank, helping establish it as a major institution for social change in the Mississauga community 
• Board Chair and also one-time Interim (Volunteer) Executive Director of Sikh Research Institute driving organizational stability, alignment and growth

As a formal advisor to several start-ups (currently Celerity Craft, previously Summit Nanotech) and a mentor for the Mining and Minerals stream at Creative Destruction Labs, I support founders in shaping their business strategies, developing scalable models, and crafting go-to-market plans.
